Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for WINDMILL memberships and guest passes purchased on windmillpassport.com. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Membership (€300 / year, auto-renewing)
1.1 Right of withdrawal (14-day cooling-off)
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may withdraw from your membership purchase within 14 days of payment without giving a reason, provided you have not yet used your membership to attend an event. To withdraw, email support@windmillpassport.com from your registered email address. We will refund the full membership fee to your original payment method within 14 days.
1.2 Cancellation after the cooling-off period
You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account settings. Your membership remains active until the end of the current 12-month period and will not renew. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a membership period.
1.3 Renewals
We send renewal reminders 30 days and 7 days before your membership renews. If a renewal charge is processed and you contact us within 14 days without having used the membership in the new period, we will refund the renewal in full.
1.4 Declined identity verification
Membership requires identity verification. If your verification is declined and cannot be completed, we will refund your membership fee in full.
2. Guest Passes (€100 per event)
Guest passes may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the event start time for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of the event, and unused passes after the event, are not refundable.
3. Cancelled events
If WINDMILL or a venue cancels an event, guest passes for that event are refunded in full automatically. Membership fees are not affected by individual event cancellations.
4. How refunds are paid
Refunds are issued to the original payment method via our payment processor (2Checkout / Verifone) and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
